When one's camera batteries are as dead as one's motivation to look for them one must change blogging tactics.
I wanted to show off a pair of mittens I made that I'm about to give to my sister so I drew a picture of them:
Aren't they just exquisite? I love the stitch definition. Perfectly symmetrical too.
Then I was thinking of the future and this great hat idea I have in my head. Wanna see what it looks like?
It's not really a lava cake, it's a striped chevron hat! I don't know how to make chevron stripes just yet but you can be sure I'll figure it out. I have a zillion knitting books and the internet. I can make pretty much anything.
Now that it's really getting chilly I have been wanting to cast on for my Marching Columns scarf I got the yarn and pattern for at the Brooks Farm Ranch at Rhinebeck. It's gonna be so softy and pretty and I love all the colors. Wanna see?
Gentle pools and variations of blues and purples are just some of my favorite colors to see together.
As previously mentioned I have a hat due Sunday so I have to get cracking. The house is quiet with Hubbo at school and I'm going to watch Annie Hall. Yeah I know it's 2010 and I'm a little late to the Woody Allen party. Don't judge me, I'm only 31, I haven't been mature enough for Woody Allen before now!
