Since my last post I have:
-gifted the embroidery and forgot to take a picture. Maybe my recipient would send me one?
- camped at Rhinebeck, rocked at Rhinebeck, love and miss Rhinebeck
-knitted mittens for Rhinebeck that I didn't finish till two weeks AFTER but didn't need anyways
-actually bought yarn at Rhinebeck and knitted it into a complete FO already!
-today I went to Stitches, what a blast
Seeing as I have been so productive and busy and I have so much to share I am going to participate in Nanoblopomo or what ever it is. Basically I'm going to blog everyday in November. It may be a quick dash from the iphone with a cell picture, but I will post. I may even buy that trendy Hipstamatic program all the cool bloggers use to pretend like they're not really blogging from their phones :)
I have been interested in hat construction for a long time and I think after I finish the two cowls I have lined up I'm think of a top-down hat in sock yarn. Something different. Maybe with an interesting rib or even a lace pattern. Who knows?
But I'm back from my mini hiatus of writing and I'm ready to jump in with both feet to November. September was a drag, a slog along month as I got acclimated to having my first kindergartener and my husband and in college. That was way more personally challenging than I expected. It kind of really kicked my ass. I was over tired, over stressed and under organized. Then we caught our stride and October flashed by in a wink.
November is the beginning of the holiday season and I LOVE it. The whole busyness, excitement and anticipation of the next two months up till Kristmas are my most favorite times of the year. It's perfect knitting weather and I still haven't had to turn my heat on yet, but we are getting mighty close!
